The International Congress of Neuroethology is organized by the International Society for Neuroethology (www.neuroethology.org) to promote the exchange of scientific research about the neural basis of natural behavior. The Congress, which has been held every three years since 1986 (www.neuroethology.org/meetings/) attracts hundreds of researchers from around the world. This year"s program includes 10 plenary sessions on topics such as (bird song learning, neural networks for olfactory behaviour, molecular evolution of vision, or basal ganglia and the dopamine system, among others). There are 18 symposia that are organized by Society members and 4 symposia that will be chosen from submitted abstracts as well as poster sessions.
